Questions

Studying in English in Israel, answered.

What can you study in English in Israel?

Full degrees (BA, BSc and MA) at universities such as Reichman, Tel Aviv University, the Technion and the Hebrew University, plus tech bootcamps, Hebrew ulpanim and short professional courses. This page lists them in one place, with olim and funding status on each.

Which programs are free or funded for new olim?

The state ulpan (Ulpan Aleph) is free for eligible olim. The Student Authority can fund degree tuition for olim who meet its age and timing rules, and some bootcamps are government subsidized. Turn on the Gov funding filter to see them.

What does “Partial” government funding mean?

Funding exists but may not cover the full cost. Reichman, for example, is a private university, so the Student Authority grant may cover only part of its tuition.

What is a Masa grant?

Masa Israel Journey gives grants to young adults from abroad on eligible long-term programs in Israel. Only some programs qualify, so we mark the ones that do.

Why does a program say “Not listed”?

It means we haven’t found that benefit confirmed by the institution or the funding body. It doesn’t always mean no. Ask us and we’ll check it for you.
